Following boutiques at Tokyo Haneda Airport and Tokyo Narita Airport, luxury behemoth Louis Vuitton has inaugurated a standalone store at Osaka Kansai Airport, the main airport of Osaka and the third international hub airport in Japan. Situated airside, on the second floor of Terminal 1, the boutique stands out from its generic airport surroundings thanks to a striking, wildly undulating glass façade. Inside the store, shoppers find an open plan configuration with various settings, interspersed with seating arrangements, presenting a curated range of Louis Vuitton‘s elaborate collections. Available products include travel luggage, women’s and men’s leather goods, ready-to-wear, shoes, fine jewellery, accessories, fragrances and books. Additionally, since the boutique is situated at an airport, it will offer Airport Mode service, an advance reservation service for duty-free items which makes travel hassle free for the most discerning of travellers. The service, available from Fri – Jan 19, can only be used via the LINE app, and you’ll receive your purchases at the airport prior to your departure.
