High-end beauty brand Augustinus Bader has had a flagship store on the historic premises of Palais Royal in Paris since 2018. As of late, timely coinciding with the global limelight and glitz of Paris Fashion Week‘s latest edition, the company has inaugurated an ephemeral in-store beauty salon. Designed by sought-after architect Harry Nuriev and his practice Crosby Studios, it comprises a room with subtly tiered walls in silver, a signature colour of Nuriev, laden with a selection of Augustinus Bader‘s coveted product range, and embedded on one side, a low bench. The treatment room only features a silver treatment chair, but the Prussian blue carpeting, Augustinus Bader‘s signature colour, and backlit Barrisol ceiling tie in the two spaces. The aesthetic takes cues from high-tech of the future, alongside the architecture and symmetry of the Palais Royal‘s garden. The Augustinus Bader pop-up salon offers facials which should be booked in advance (open through January 2025). © superfuture
