In another bold move, Simon Porte Jacquemus plants a flag on the U.S. West Coast. Following the opening of a standalone JACQUEMUS boutique in New York City last October, an event we’ve talked about in a previous post, the Paris-based fashion brand is shifting gear, opening a second retail space stateside, in Los Angeles, to be precise. JACQUEMUS has opted for a location on swanky Melrose Avenue, an address for discerning shoppers. The store occupies a 255 sqm. (2,745 sq.ft.) unit on the premises of a low-rise structure built in 1941, and features an interior design created in-house. Oozing Southern French charm, the setting sees a backdrop of whitewashed walls and ceiling, paired with flooring of terracotta bricks. Furnishings comprise a configuration of bright yellow sofas, sturdy shelving unit in matching white, and stone-clad displays and clothing racks. Adding further character to the JACQUEMUS store, is a series of carefully sourced objects. The new JACQUEMUS store carries the brand’s women’s and men’s apparel, accessories, bags and shoes. © superfuture
