Dior has had a presence on Honolulu’s bustling Kalakaua Avenue for the past 20 years, but as of late, the iconic Paris-based fashion house has relocated to new premises further down the road. Occupying a spacious two-level ground floor unit on the premises of the First Hawaiian Bank building, a thirteen-storey structure from 1967, it’s smack in the middle of the city’s golden mile of luxury shopping. Peers from fashion’s upper echelon, such as Louis Vuitton, Chrome Hearts, Prada, Hermès, and Ferragamo, all have boutiques here.
