For the second collaboration between Gentle Monster and Paris-based fashion house Maison Margiela, five dedicated pop-up stores have been launched at leading shopping destinations across the planet, including one at HAUS Dosan, the South Korean eyewear brand’s flagship store in Seoul. The collaborative collection features 17 models with more frames and colourways, including handcrafted leather frames, Maison Margiela‘s four iconic stitches on the temples, and templeless mask-shaped sunglasses with technology and aesthetics. Obviously, the pop-up store sees a specially designed setting which sees shelving and displays laden with eyewear pieces of the Maison Margiela x Gentle Monster adorned with a kinetic installation and a related, colossal prop that underpin the futuristic element of the collection (open through Apr 25).
