Since his graduation from Tama Art University in Tokyo, Takahiro Yasuda (1985) has dipped his toe in quite a number of pools, including graphic design, product design, video and digital creation. Highly talented and having a distinct and innovative style, Yasuda is a sought after creative who’s work is also appreciated by peers in other fields. Following three previous shows, the multitasker has returned to VOILLD gallery in Tokyo for a brand new presentation. Entitled Concrete, the show further elaborates on Yasuda’s awareness of perception, impression and memory all being key to his creative output, and he has now dabbled with computer graphics to better express his various visual notions, putting on display 10 intricately designed works (on through Jan 13).
