Flaunting traces of the vibrant and carefree style of 1980s Italian street fashion, MSGM has obviously resonated well in Italy, but even more so in countries in the Far East. The Milan-based brand, helmed by designer Massimo Giorgetti, continues to build momentum with its colour-infused men’s and women’s collections, and is steadily expanding its retail network along the way. Following the opening of a standalone boutique in Beijing one-and-a-half years ago, its very first in China, a second store in the city has bowed at the swanky SKP shopping centre, one of its leading shopping destinations. Situated on the third floor, the MSGM boutique occupies a 100 sqm. (1,076 sq.ft.) unit which flaunts the brand’s latest design codes. the setting is defined by clean lines, captured by three rows of displays in marble, sleek metal clothing racks and shelving, and a ceiling adorned by rows of tubular lighting. The new MSGM store stocks the full range of women’s apparel, accessories, bags and shoes.
