Continuing its retail expansion stateside, Byredo has once again inaugurated a boutique prime shopping territory. We’re talking the Swedish brand’s arrival at Phipps Plaza, a newly expanded shopping centre which is set to become Atlanta‘s ultimate destination for luxury shopping. Occupying a ground floor unit in the new wing, the store features an interior design by Byredo‘s creative director Ben Gorham and the brand’s in-house design team. Clean and understated, a signature element of all Byredo retail spaces, the setting sees a backdrop of pristine white walls and flooring of terrazzo and granite tiles. Striking a signature balance between artisanal craft and industrial accents, the entrance is flanked by a large sign box on one side, and sleek steel displays on the other side. The understatement is further captured aluminium-framed cabinets with bright pink plexiglass shelving and a contrasting marble base. At the back of the store, a seating area is situated, furnished a cowhide-clad chaise longue and handwoven carpet displaying the Byredo alphabet pattern. The new Byredo store carries the full range of perfume, home fragrances, makeup and body care products, as well as select items of the brand’s Byproduct range.
