The elusive Olson twins are slowly crossing off the planet’s fashion capitals. Following standalone boutiques and ephemeral retail spaces at home base New York City, Los Angeles, Tokyo and London, their high-end brand The Row has arrived in Paris. We’re talking a newly opened flagship store, situated snugly in an area of town that’s infested with prestigious boutiques by brands from fashion’s upper echelon. The retail space occupies approx. 200 sqm. (2,153 sq.ft.) on the ground floor of residential structure built in 1835, and which was previously home to an upscale Asian restaurant. Needless to say, and similar to previously opened The Row retail spaces, the new flagship store sees a meticulously designed interior, created by its in-house design team, in a balanced palette of beige hues and cream, captured by exposed limestone walls and matching floor, carefully sourced furnishings and artworks, notably a sliding door by architect Jean Prouvé, a Koloman Moser chaise, chairs by Victor Courtray chairs, a Georges Jouve coffee table, and a collection of precious rugs. The various settings ooze a homey elegance, indeed, it’s as if navigating a private apartment, which not only elevates the shopping experience, but also signals The Row‘s halo of exclusivity and sophistication. The new The Row flagship store carries the full range of women’s and men’s apparel, accessories, bags, and shoes. What’s next, Milan? © superfuture
