Two seasoned Amsterdam-based creatives have embarked on a collaborative journey, demonstrating their meticulous skill set and distinct vision along the way. We’re talking photographer Marthe Hennink and creative director Jilt Meeder who’ve collaborated on many an occasion on advertising campaigns for a string of high-profile clients, such as Dutch luxury department store de Bijenkorf, Chanel and Saint Laurent. This month, Hennink and Meeder have officially kicked off their collaboration to reach a new demographic of private individuals through the release of limited-edition artwork—autonomous artwork that is. The duo’s first endeavour, a body of work entitled Silhouettes, is currently on display at their collective studio in the Dutch capital, and coincides with the recent inauguration of the premises. On display is a series of portraits, all exquisitely styled by stylist Im Fong Liu, a longtime colleague and friend. The portraits come in two sizes (75cm x 100cm and 45cmm x 60cm) and are printed on Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta Satin. And that’s not all. The works come with an official certificate of authenticity and a black wooden frame (on through Mar 17).
