The collaborative quilt series by A.P.C. and British-born designer Jessica Ogden continues, and the very latest trophy pieces from Round 16 are about to drop in stores across the planet. The quilts explore a more technical approach, focusing on borders as specifically seen on the Symphony in G quilt or the Allegro cushion. The pieces were named as if pieces of classical music because A.P.C. creative director Jean Touitou finds it simply poetic. In a compatible manner, all the cushions were named after Italian terms to describe the intention given to some parts of a classical piece, such as Andante and Crescendo. The alluring photographs by Paris-based Venezuelan lensman Alfredo Piola were shot in Ogden’s homeland of Jamaica, on the lush Blue Mountain Peak to be precise, where the duo hiked around to find the most appealing backdrops for the quilts and cushions. As said, the new collection will be available at A.P.C. stores, but can also be conveniently purchased online.
