When shopping at Harrods, there’s no escaping Dior. The French luxury brand has raised its profile at the iconic London department store because of the arrival of its A/W 2018 collection, and it does so by way of a fully branded pop-up store and a series of matching window installations. The design is classic and subdued, featuring walls covered in three shades of Dior Oblique motif wallpaper – mind you, a green hue has been added to honour the department store’s house colour – to seamlessly match, yes indeed, the brand’s newest range of women’s bags, pouches and accessories. For the first time, Dior will offer shoppers the opportunity to customise its embroidered Dior Book Tote. Additionally, three cabs have been revamped to advertise the pop-up store across town, each in a different Dior Oblique motif colour (on through Aug 31). The pop-up store is part of a global campaign to promote the coveted new collection.
