The days of dowdily dressed Bay Area males (and females) are numbered. We’re talking the arrival of Thom Browne‘s new boutique in San Francisco. Situated on the premises of the Yeon Building, a historic red brick structure in the city’s Jackson Square area which dates back to 1865, the 1,250 sq.ft. (116 sqm.) store sees an interior design by creative director Thom Browne in collaboration with Milan-based architecture practice and longtime collaborator ASA Studio Albanese. Similar to all other Thom Browne retail spaces worldwide, the setting features the brand’s signature Mid-century modern office look with walls swathed in shiny grey marble, flooring, white terrazzo flooring lined with a black band, metal clothing racks and shelving units, in addition to a carefully curated selection of period furnishings by leading American and French designers. The new Thom Browne store carries the brand’s men’s and women’s apparel, kidswear, shoes, bags and accessories, eyewear and fragrances. Additionally, the store offers tailoring and made-to-measure services.
