Newly launched mobility membership venture Lynk & Co appeals to forward city dwellers in more ways than just one. Keen to connect with this demographic, the company has launched its first club house in Amsterdam two months ago – we talked about the stylish venue in a previous post – and rolled out a rotating programme of events. Lynk & Co has teaming up with Dekmantel, one of the biggest independent electronic music festivals across the planet, to host Dekmantel Connects, a virtual event which not only aims to entertain, but also share knowledge and, as its name already implies, connect artists, music fans, and everyone else missing out on this year’s festival season due to the global pandemic. The programme, running until Dec 23, is free for all to access. The event, primarily held at the Lynk & Co club house, features live DJ sets and a schedule of educational content to teach aspiring artists a thing or two about the music industry. Dekmantel Connects once again presents a varied programme, featuring no less than five workshops, five panel conversations, and three in-depth conversations with veteran artists on topics ranging from grant applications to the future of the music industry, and includes Sandrien and Fafi Abdel Nour, Altin Gün, Nous’klaer and Sjoerd Oberman, and Victor CrezéeMairo Nawaz.
