When it comes to sunglasses, you simply can’t own enough, and Acne Studios totally gets that. For the coming season, the Stockholm-based fashion house offers a wide range of shades to capture almost every mood or activity, and yes, even for men. Whether boldly futuristic or cool retro, each model has been infused with an unapologetic fun factor only a few brands manage to pull off these days. There’s Agar with its thin oblong lenses, the oversized Ingrid, the two-tone Azalt with custom pierced temple, and Astaria in a thin metal frame with pointed oval lenses. Bold colourways for the cat eye range include red/orange mirror, mint green, blue/aqua, tortoiseshell/red and ivory leopard/grey degradé, in addition to classic colours such as black, silver and pink. Taking inspiration from the traditional aviator shape, Anteom has a thin metal frames and features slightly squared-off lenses.

Pink gold/green mirror is the highlight of the season, but there are also black, silver and gold variations. The round-framed Scientist comes in black satin/silver, antique silver/orange degradé or silver/light blue, while Scientist Mix comes in gold/black or silver satin/ yellow. The iconic oval-framed Mustang eyewear is updated for S/S 2019 collection in contrasting frames and lenses; leopard/yellow, blue glitter/light grey or red glitter/black. George Large and Library Metal present the square framed offerings from the eyewear range. Both oversized in shape, George Large features a softer square frame in black, burgundy, dark tortoiseshell or mint green, while Library Metal features rounded bottom corners and comes in a new lilac/silver rhinestone studded version.
