Expanding one’s footprint on home turf is always a good idea, and Our Legacy does so by launching a shop-in-shop on the premises of Nordiska Kompaniet. It’s clearly a strategy to align itself more with fashion’s upper echelon, and as Stockholm‘s leading luxury hub, this is just the right place. Situated on the second floor, rubbing shoulders with other Nordic brands and a handful of international labels, the retail space features an interior design by local architecture practice Arrhov Frick. Similar to all of Our Legacy‘s retail spaces, the shop-in-shop has an understated aesthetic, and here, it’s captured by handcrafted stone flooring, whitewashed walls and ceilings, furnishings of stainless steel and timber, concrete and acrylic glass. Rows of tubular lights are suspended across the breadth of the elongated space to optically broaden it. The new Our Legacy shop-in-shop exclusively carries the brand’s women’s collection.

Publishers Note
Just to be clear – superfuture® is a design blog and not a political commentator. No surprise there. The scope of our content has always been global and borderless, however that can often mean covering projects in countries where we will not agree with the politics or actions of those countries. In a world that’s as screwed up as ever right now, the focus of our support is to those designers, architects and other creatives who aim to make the world a more liveable one – as opposed to people that try their hardest to destroy it. So if a project hits our desk and we like it based on its design credentials, we may choose to publish regardless of its location or creators nationality. superfuture® has always been inclusive and hopes for all current wars, aggression, violence, hate and extremism to end.
