In Hong Kong the shopping landscape continues to evolve at the blink of an eye – indeed, riots or no riots. The newly opened K11 Musea, a major new culture and retail complex designed by acclaimed architecture practice Kohn Pedersen Fox, is a new destination for discerning shoppers. Situated in Tsim Sha Sui – it’s actually smack on Victoria Harbour and part of its spectacular skyline – the venue is the new home to a number of brands from fashion’s upper echelon. One of the coveted names which has landed here is Virgil Abloh‘s luxury streetwear brand Off-White. Hot on the heels of the opening a second store in Singapore, the retail space at K11 Musea is also the second retail space in the former British Crown Colony. Occupying 220 sqm. (2,369 sq.ft.) unit on the ground floor, the Off-White store is managed by influential Hong Kong-based retailer I.T, and features an interior design marked by soft shapes and warm materials. A colour-blocked velvet embossed wall showcases Off-White’s latest accessories, accompanied by velvet furniture. The design palette also includes travertine marble, wood and steel, and lends the settings a distinctly modern touch. The new Off-White carries the brand’s full range of men’s and women’s apparel, accessories, shoes and bags.
