Jewellery brand Avgvst once again raises its profile in Paris with a pop-up store, and this time it’s on the premises of Le Bon Marché, one of the city’s leading luxury department stores. Similar to Avgvst‘s other retail spaces, the pop-up has been designed by architect Harry Nuriev of design practice Crosby Studios. Boasting a striking spiral shape which echoes both Albrecht Dürer‘s logarithmic spiral and Isamu Noguchi‘s Playscapes, it’s very much a symbol of life and transformation. Display cabinets are embedded in the steel structure, presenting Avgvst‘s core collections, best-selling silver, gold and rock crystal demi-fine pieces, while attached circular mirrors allow shopper to instantly try out any jewellery piece. The selection of offerings also include the signature piece—The Heart flip ring. The ring’s distinctive design – mind you, it’s even patented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office – has been a bestseller since its inception, and comes in several seasonal limited versions (open through Apr 21). © superfuture
