Founded by young entrepreneurs Artur Shusteriovas and Gleb Golubev in late 2019, PIMS successfully introduced China‘s contemporary tea-based drink craze to the young and trend-conscious crowds of Moscow, St. Petersburg and the popular seaside resort of Sochi. And now, following several outposts in the city, the company has set up its first overseas outpost in the booming Middle Eastern tinseltown of Dubai. Situated on the ground floor of the Roxy Cinema Building at Jumeirah Beach Residence, a large, upscale residential complex straddled along the Persian Gulf, it occupies a 49 sqm. (527 sq.ft.) unit and features an interior design by Russian design practice KIDZ.

The chosen aesthetic oozes a carefree day at the beach, featuring a wavy textured metal rack in turquoise tones as the primary visual accent of the interior, round tables resembling islands, and as a whimsical element, lamps strung on a single wildly swirling pipe, and a rail for visitors’ clothes, small accessories and PIMS’ merchandise and a mirror are all made in a single metal style. Seating comprises a large communal table, seemingly constructed of interconnected smaller tables, paired with matching stools, while outside on the terrace. As said, PIMS is all about refreshing tea-based drinks, but the menu also lists drinks with a watermelon, passionfruit or coconut base and special coffee concoctions.
