As one of the planet’s most exclusive shopping grounds, it’s quite relevant for leading luxury brands to be present in Tokyo‘s Aoyama district, and Cartier does so with a pop-up space dedicated exclusively to its iconic Panthère de Cartier jewellery collection. Named after Jeanne Toussaint, who was appointed in 1933 as the company’s first female creative director and was nicknamed La Panthère, she laid the foundation for the house’s creations. Situated in a specially constructed pavilion on the busy intersection of Omotesando dori and Aoyama dori, the pop-up space elaborates on the illustrious Panthère universe by way of a specially developed, interactive presentation and content that uses six keywords—bold & fearless, untamed, confident, magnetic, graceful and seductive. At the venue’s community room visitors can view a specially produced visual on this theme (open through Sep 19).
