Anticipating Maison Margiela‘s newest edition of its collaboration with forward South Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster, iconic concept store 10 Corso Como in Milan has inaugurated a dedicated pop-up store on the premises, which coincidentally, is also Gentle Monster‘s very first retail space in Italy. Featuring an evocative setting with cybercore-inspired abstract human forms, raw patterns, and sheer materials in harmonious balance, the space is an extension of classicism-meets-futurism narrative. The collection, an exploration of the intersection between classicism and futurism, features no less than 20 distinctive eyewear designs that merge cybercore aesthetics, metallic materials, cable temples, and Maison Margiela’s iconic four white stitches.
