The merchandise may have been available at some of the best stores across the planet for quite some time, but C.P. Company did not yet have any boutique of its own. Well, that was yesterday. It’s at home base Milan where the brand’s first standalone store has opened its doors, featuring an interior design by Italian architect Andrea Caputo. Occupying 170 sqm. (1,830 . sq.ft.) spread across the ground floor and basement of a redeveloped residential building alongside Corso Garibaldi,  a popular shopping street in the heart of the city. The store interior has been stripped, and now features a minimalist but modular configuration and a neutral backdrop. As such, the focus and purpose of the interior is a constant rotation of clothing, colours, industrial machinery, special products and in-store processes of customization. Pops of colour are instigated by a series of chunky displays covered in gradient coatings, and a suspended lightbox which displays a both a day and night cycle of colours that includes C.P. Company‘s seasonal palette. Interestingly, great effort has been made to create a soundproof retail environment that allows shoppers to disconnect from the hustle and bustle outside and fully immerse themselves in the experience. The new C.P. Company store offers the brand’s newest range of men’s apparel, in addition to a customization service in a dedicated area. Called Bespoke Colour, a selection of the brand’s iconic items can be customized in any Pantone colour. Mind you, the service even offers to match a C.P. Company garment with any preferred hue for that matter.
