Since its launch in 1997, MM6 Maison Margiela has become world-renowned for bending the rules of fashion with collections that twist daily wardrobe staples into idiosyncratic and irreverent streetwear-infused essentials for all genders. For this exclusive collaboration, the retro-style T80 is reimagined as two distinct offerings: a T80 two-in-one, offered as a gift set with an additional standalone stainless-steel bracelet, and its first-ever T80 ring watch. It’s an exploration of appearance and illusion that plays upon notions of iconography, convention, and perception.
And yes, the MM6 Maison Margiela x Timex collection redefines how time itself can be worn. Through minimal, instinctive design gestures, MM6 has reinterpreted Timex’s classic T80 as an endlessly adaptable accessory, offering a multitude of styling options. Building on MM6’s ongoing exploration of ‘Ways to Wear It’, a design process which places great importance on the individuality of the wearer, it allows for immediacy and spontaneity in stylish dressing.
