Flaunting an understated Scandinavian aesthetic, Stylein was founded in 2001 by Elin Alemdar. Offering a full wardrobe of contemporary silhouettes, the brand has resonated well with a discerning demographic at home and abroad. The brand takes its operations to a new level by opening a standalone boutique in Stockholm‘s plush Norrmalm district. The store occupies a 60 sqm. (646 sq.ft.) unit on the ground floor of a residential building erected in 1917, featuring a characteristic, late Art Nouveau-style façade comprising Helsingborg bricks. The interior design is a collaborative effort of Copenhagen-based Thibaut Allgayer Design Office and Swedish interior design practice Tomai Studio by Tomai Nordgren.

Unsurprisingly, the retail space reflects Stylein‘s core values, and sees a curved wall covered in cedar wood, overlaid with hyper sleek metal fixtures, while a two-in-one display and sofa, dipped in a black piano-finish, takes centre stage. Combined with a gigantic paper pendant lamp hovering overhead, it adds an element of effortless visual drama to the setting. The new Stylein store carries a curated collection of the brand’s women’s apparel, denim pieces, accessories, bags and eyewear, in addition to an exclusive fragrance, called Insula Mane, which is created by luxury fragrance brand En Doft. The Stylein store will officially open its doors on Fri – Mar 28.
