Following four outposts at home base New York City and a standalone store in Los Angeles, Bode has inaugurated yet another new retail space in a global fashion capital—Paris. The cult luxury brand largely known for its one-off creations has secured a 186 sqm. (2,000 sq.ft.) corner unit on the premises of a listed 17th-century building, just off plush boutique-infested rue St.-Honoré. The interior design, is a renewed collaboration between the brand’s co-founder Emily Bode and Green River Project, the design practice of the other co-founder, husband Aaron Aujla. Similarly quirky as Bode’s fashion aesthetic, the interior design not only blends American and French design elements, but also reflects the duo’s personal flavours and finds. The settings, infused with lacquered timber, are tightly curated, and oozes a style that brilliantly juggles vintage glory, bohemia, and anthropology. The latter element is specifically reflected by the myriad of fixtures and objects which reflect the duo’s personal interest sand style. The new Bode store stocks the brand’s seasonal women’s and men’s collections, in addition to a selection of products exclusive to the store. © superfuture
