Timely reopened during the latest edition of Milan Fashion Week with a star-studded party, the revamped ETRO boutique in the Lombardian capital’s Duomo district introduces a new concept as it’s dedicated to ETRO UNIQUE, the brand’s made-to-order service for men. The interior design, created by the brand’s in-house design team, meticulously balances modernity with classic elements. Moulded wall panels are paired with understated concrete flooring, and furnishings comprise recessed display cabinets framed lacquered dark wood, modern chunky display cabinets that tie in with tall metal clothing displays, and tipping the atmosphere to the cozy side are the burgundy rugs and inviting seating areas with elegant sofas and side tables. The ETRO boutique operates through reservations, which can be made online, and shoppers can choose styles, fabrics, details to create their favourite outfit, from classic to casual. All suits, jackets, gilets, and pants can be fully customised. Mind you, the options are quite elaborate—80 different fabrics, 45 different linings, 34 tie linings, 9 types of melton for coloured cloth, and 28 types of buttons. In addition to ETRO‘s very own fabrics, the selection of materials also includes a few of other top manufacturers.
