The global fanbase has hardly recovered from seeing the highly coveted looks of Dior‘s A/W 2022 Men’s Collection presented in Paris two weeks ago, they first face the first drop in stores of this season’s alluring offerings. In Tokyo, arguably the planet’s most fashion-conscious capital, these matters are done most thoroughly and professionally by way of a dedicated pop-up store. And where else but at Isetan Shinjuku? The illustrious department store has long been the city’s shopping hub of men’s luxury fashion, and Dior obviously has had a string of ephemeral retail spaces on the premises. Situated on the ground floor of the men’s building, the setting is infused with bright colours that match well with pieces of the collections, and is dotted with large-sized roses which also decorated the collection’s runway presentation last Summer in the French capital. The Dior pop-up store stocks all must-have items from this collection, including the iconic saddle mini soft bags and the B23 sneakers, both in precious python leather (open through Feb 15).
