Leafy avenue Montaigne in Paris has traditionally been the preferred address of fashion’s upper upper echelon, and obviously, LOEWE has a presence here. As of late, the 211 sqm. (2,271 sq.ft.) flaunts a new interior design created by the brand’s in-house design team and creative director Jonathan Anderson. The settings are uncluttered and architectural with clean lines, and a lighter palette somehow lends it an airy feel. Pops of bright colours, captured by stone displays and decorative objects reference its Spanish roots. A striking Georgian-style spiral staircase in Spanish limestone leads upstairs and ties in with the design codes of its flagship stores in Madrid, London and Tokyo. The premises also see a selection of design pieces, such as a coffee table by Axel Vervoordt, a wooden bench by Jim Partridge and Liz Walmsley, finalists for the 2019 Craft Prize of the LOEWE Foundation or three ceramics by Pablo Picasso. The renewed LOEWE boutique carries the men’s and women’s ready-to-wear ranges, bags, small leather goods, accessories, optics and jewellery.
