It’s only two years ago since C.P. Company inaugurated a new store on Corso Garibaldi in Milan, revealing its new retail design codes as laid down by Italian architect Andrea Caputo, and now, it has relocated and morphed into a proper flagship store a few blocks away in the gilded Duomo shopping district. The retail space, situated in a street arcade, measures 290 sqm. (3,122 sq.ft.) across a lofty ground floor and basement, featuring settings which pair the building’s concrete shell with an understated and industrial-inspired aesthetic. Large floor-to-ceiling windows allow passers-by unobstructed views of sleek metal beams lining walls or running overhead, incorporating shelving, clothing racks, peg board displays, large-scale visuals, and even light fixtures. An exposed ceiling on both floors, revealing utility pipes and electric wiring, adds to the industrial vibe. Referencing C.P. Company‘s pioneering garment dyeing technique, a series of chunky gradient blue volumes dot the premises, serving as sales counter and displays. The new C.P. Company flagship store carries the brand’s full range of apparel and accessories for men, women and kids.
