Since expanding its operations to e-commerce three years ago, Wallpaper* magazine has also taken retail on the road with various pop-up stores across the planet, and the latest one has just been inaugurated on the premises of Amsterdam‘s design store X Bank. It’s the first time ever that the so-called WallpaperSTORE* has set up shop in the Low Countries, and for this venture it has struck a collab with local design practice GHYCZY. Situated on the ground floor of X Bank, the Dutch design retail concept which is an integral part of the upscale W Amsterdam hotel, it sits near the entrance, opposite the well-stocked X Bar, featuring a specially designed setting brimming with an abundance of GHYCZY trophy items for your home. The product range at WallpaperSTORE* straddles several categories, including a variety of chairs and trolleys, ceramics by Lara Bohinc and Bitossi, Vitra silhouettes, and candles, trays and cushions by Gucci, all showcased in a setting created by the aforementioned design practice (open through Sep 26).
