While many brands and retailers struggle to get it right, MatchesFashion.com has managed to find a balance, offering its savvy clientele a plethora of the right merchandise online, but also indulging them with a shopping experience that’s equally inspiring, if not more so. Following the opening of stores in three of London‘s most fashionable shopping districts, a new and arguably its grandest retail space has just opened its doors in leafy Mayfair. Measuring 7,000 sq.ft. (650 sqm.) across five floors of a Georgian townhouse, the space is designed by London-based architecture and design practice P Joseph, and offers shopping combined with a cultural and lifestyle event programme that’ll  surely boost customer engagement to a new high. Next to two floors of retail space, two other floors feature private shopping suites, and up in the attic there’s even an open kitchen with a chef’s table.

Firmly anchoring MatchesFashion.com‘s prominent online element in the brick and mortar concept is a creative broadcasting hub that’s also situated on the top floor. Here, content will be created and disseminated through live streaming and podcasts. Customers will also be able to RSVP to a rotating roster of events, apply for a private shopping consultation, and last but not least, have the online trophy of choice delivered to the store within 90 minutes. The store’s inaugural installation created by Robert Storey, featuring an exclusive capsule collection of 30 menswear items and 80 womenswear pieces by none other than Italian fashion house Prada. And that’s not all, folks. The installation comes with a residency of Marchesi, the Prada-owned pastry store on Milan‘s plush Via Montenapoleone, and a relaunch of the Prada Linea Rossa collection.
