The Protective Facial Lotion SPF30 is a new sunscreen which not only contains UVA and UVB filters, but also a moisturizer that’s rich in anti-oxidants. The latter element comprises of green tea and Tocopherol (Vitamin E) which also helps to reduce skin damage, in addition to panthenol which soothes the skin, and is fortified with light but nutrient-rich emollients. According to Dr. Kate Forbes, Aesop‘s General Manager of Products + Research Development, the skin can be stressed by a variety of environmental aggressors, including UVA and UVB rays. These cause the release of free radicals that can affect your skin, making the use of antioxidants in addition to the sunscreen with UV filters is essential for the protection of the skin.
