It may not be GANNI‘s first store in town – in fact, it’s the brand’s third outpost – but opening up shop on P.C. Hooftstraat, Amsterdam‘s Golden Mile of luxury shopping, signals a new trajectory for the Danish fashion company. No official repositioning has been launched yet GANNI is clearly claiming its place in the upper echelons of fashion by showing at Paris Fashion Week, as of late last year, and now, also in top retail locations. Rubbing shoulders with the boutiques of illustrious brands, such as Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Isabel Marant, Balenciaga and Versace, GANNI occupies a 220 sqm. (2,368 sq.ft.) unit on the ground floor of a former residential red brick structure built in 1875. The interior design, created by the brand’s in-house design team at home base Copenhagen, is an extrapolation of its forward brand values, featuring a backdrop of pristine white walls and ceiling for a series of various furnishings, which for a large part, have been crafted from recycled materials. The new GANNI store carries the brand’s full range of women’s apparel, accessories, bags and shoes. © superfuture
