After a lengthy absence, Paris-based fashion house Chloé has made a comeback in Jakarta‘s fast-evolving luxury retail scene, opening up shop in Plaza Indonesia, one of the city’s leading shopping centres. Situated on the ground floor, the retail space occupies a 159 sqm. (1,712 sq.ft.) unit, rubbing shoulders with boutiques of leading luxury brands, such as Dior, LOEWE, Saint Laurent, FENDI and Zegna. The interior design, created by the brand’s in-house design team, features Chloé‘s latest retail design codes. A clean and understated backdrop, captured by cream-coloured walls, matching concrete flooring, and a framed Barrisol ceiling overhead, is paired with a variety of furnishings which add warmth and a sophisticated vibrancy to the setting. Modular leather ottomans forming two semi-circular shapes, take centre stage, and are paired with a limestone display table and display cabinet. Lining the side walls are shelving units, wall-mounted shelving and large mirrors, while at the far end, a large floor-to-ceiling shelving unit showcasing bags, conceals the fitting rooms. The new Chloé store carries a selection of women’s apparel, accessories, bags, shoes and eyewear. © superfuture
