Following a shop-in-shop on the second floor of Lotte department store’s main branch in Seoul, CELINE has added another branded space. The second shop-in-shop features the Paris-based luxury brand’s latest design codes as laid down by its creative director Hedi Slimane. Large floor-to-ceiling mirrors, most notably a back wall clad in overlapping slabs with brass finishings, and sections of whitewashed walls form the backdrop for sleek cabinets crafted from steel and glass which tie in with matching wall-mounted shelves. Additional furnishings and fixtures include sturdy timber chairs, a low bench with and steel clothing racks attached to the ceiling. As said, the new CELINE shop-in-shop complements the existing one a few floors down, and stocks both the brand’s men’s collection and the CELINE Haute Parfumerie collection.
