Following the successful opening of Little National Hotel in Canberra, an affordable luxury hospitality concept of property development group Doma, a second outpost recently opened its doors in Sydney. The hotel occupies a newly built twelve-storey structure situated right on top Wynyard Station in the buzzing downtown district, and features 230 stylish guest rooms. Although compact in size, each room uses efficient spatial planning and comes with a bespoke, highly comfortable super king bed, in addition to a slew of amenities which further boost the pamper factor, including unlimited free Wifi, a Samsung smart TV, USB wall ports and a luxurious bathrobe and slippers. The interior design by Bates Smart, a design practice based in Melbourne and Sydney, is contemporary and inviting, and also easily adapts to guests visiting the city for pleasure and those in town for business purposes.

The public spaces are equally homey and stylish, offering plenty of options where to sit back with a drink, socialise or get some work done. The rooftop lounge + bar at Little National Hotel is a social hub like no other—high on style with plenty of comfy nooks to choose from, it’s ready to host you any time of the day, offering complimentary Nespresso coffee, T2 tea, still and sparkling water, and a range of magazines and newspapers. The venue comes with a large outdoor terrace with views of downtown’s soaring skyline, but if duty calls, a quiet library space with unlimited Wifi, USB and power ports and a wireless colour printer is readily available. Last but not least, Hale Gym can be found on the premises, fitted out with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, enabling guests to stay in shape through various types of exercises.
