exposed concrete, brick, glass, 18-foot long spruce table made out of one tree by local conceptual woodworker brent comber, starck designed emeco stools and chairs and large chalkboard menu on wall. feels a bit like barcelona.

restaurant in a back alley in gritty gastown that specializes in charcuterie, cheese and wine. contemporary restored heritage building with exposed concrete facade, big window in the alley and a tree above the alley entrance door. opened july 2006 and packed friday and saturday nights.
