Founded in 2014 by a group of savvy Seoul-based creatives, streetwear brand ADER ERROR has since gone leaps and bounds, gaining an ever-growing following on home turf and far beyond. It’s on home turf where the brand’s eclectic men’s and women’s silhouettes are presented in a growing number of branded retail spaces, and the latest one recently opened at Shinsegae Centum City department store in Busan‘s seaside neighbourhood of Haeundae. The shop-in-shop, or Plug Shop in ADER ERROR parlance, is situated on the third floor and features an interior design by the brand’s in-house design team. The setting is understated yet evocative and sees an eclectic use of materials.
A sizeable LED screen sits in front, beckoning shoppers from afar with branded footage along the way. A metal clothing rack and tiered shelving line the walls, and tie in with a variety of display tables, including a cluster of different heights placed on a fluffy multi-coloured carpet. Adding further playful accents and visual layering is an artistically adorned, timber, grid table, a more robust display covered in faux marble slats, and a number of smaller display blocks decorated with different motifs. A large mirror doubles as the entrance door of a concealed fitting room which comes with colourful carpeting. The new ADER ERROR shop-in-shop stocks a selection of the brand’s apparel, accessories, bags, shoes and jewellery pieces.

Publishers Note
Just to be clear – superfuture® is a design blog and not a political commentator. No surprise there. The scope of our content has always been global and borderless, however that can often mean covering projects in countries where we will not agree with the politics or actions of those countries. In a world that’s as screwed up as ever right now, the focus of our support is to those designers, architects and other creatives who aim to make the world a more liveable one – as opposed to people that try their hardest to destroy it. So if a project hits our desk and we like it based on its design credentials, we may choose to publish regardless of its location or creators nationality. superfuture® has always been inclusive and hopes for all current wars, aggression, violence, hate and extremism to end.
