there's always something new to discover at the diesel concept store in shibuya, and we're not only talking fashion. the in-store diesel art gallery regularly presents interesting shows, while the brand's lifestyle focus is sustained by regular installations by leading architects and interior designers that feature pieces from the diesel home collection. the store currently hosts an installation by acclaimed japanese architect kimihiko okada. entitled windows, the installation's concept is a room that consists of layers of various windows, and aims to project a new lifestyle that's inspired by the rock spirit of the diesel home collection. the function of a window is to expose the outside world but also reveals what can be found inside. by positioning many windows that can be freely opened and closed, various patterns of display are created that express a multitude of scenes and ideas and thus the image of new life style. you know what? we're totally buying it [on through february of next year]. location: cocoti building, 1-23-16-b1f shibuya [shibuya].
