sydney: belancé store opening

belancé is a new emporium filled with coveted accessories in sydney's paddington area, set up by theodore english and oscar perez. initially started as an online business, the duo eventually opened a pop-up store which proved to be so successful that they decided to permanently open up shop in this upscale shopping district. they created a store interior with an industrial edge that's very compatible with belancé's tightly curated offerings. the retail space is furnished with a number of cherry-picked pieces from vintage stores that add a distinct character and style. english and perez make a real effort to get to know the ins and outs of a brand before it lands on belancé's shelves, and only pick the ones that reflect a contemporary notion of balance, quality and design that's similar to their own. the shop's merchandise encompasses almost a complete wardrobe, and currently includes eyewear by (h)aze, qwstion bags, baxter cosmetics, triwa watches and even suits. the latter comes with a made-to-measure service which offers no less than 500 fabrics to choose from. location: 8 william street [paddington].
