freitag recently teamed up with graphic designer + illustrator lucie clement for a rather unique event, mockingly held during paris fashion week at arty dandy's store at caroussel du louvre. for the past 20 years freitag has stubbornly refused to follow trends, and create a timeless signature style of its own by using used truck tarps. well, you all know ther story. the arty dandy store carries a selection of freitag brands and decided to celebrate this quirky attitude with a very appropriate out of fashion event with the french creative. clement meticulously tattooed four bags while shoppers, with drinks in hand and swaying to beats delivered by a deejay, looked on. the bags were given away to four lucky recipients that same evening. location: caroussel du louvre, 99 rue de rivoli [st.-honoré].
