new york: études studio pop-up store

études studio founders aurélien arbet and jérémy égry take matters to the next level stateside by opening a pop-up store on new york city's lower east side. a collab project with fashion emporium assembly, the temporary store occupies the ground floor space of a low-rise structure built in 1900, and features an interior that has been especially designed by the aforementioned duo and new york-based studio chen chen & kai williams. the shop window and door are plastered with a striking computer graphic by manuel fernández that has been used for études studio's newest apparel collection. the space is almost entirely dipped in a pristine white hue, featuring a pegboard that extends to the far end. it's marked with an engraved globe and sleek shelving and clothes racks attached to it. a row of wooden tables completes the design of the setting. the études studio store carries the s/s 2014 collection, collab items and also a selection of their books [open through jun 21]. location: 254 broome street [lower east].
