founded in paris in 1995, fashion label paul & joe has developed a sizeable network of shops across three continents, but always seemed to operate discreetly under the radar. until now that is. celebrating its 20th anniversary, the high-end brand raises its profile with the opening of a flagship store in one of the planet's leading retail arenas: london. situated on bruton street, the city's newest luxury strip, the boutique occupies a 220 sqm. [2,368 sq.ft.] ground floor space of a late 18th-century building and features an interior by paris-based designers guillaume terver and christophe delcourt.

the duo have given the paul & joe store a welcoming, sophisticated setting with a slight living room vibe, creating a palette of wood, coloured glass and metal elements. sleek shelving units line the walls, paired with matching displays and mid-century inspired furniture pieces. in the front section of the store, large ceiling panels dipped in a bright yellow hue add up to the contemporary aesthetic. the new paul & joe store stocks the brand's complete men’s and women’s collections, in addition to the paul & joe sister diffusion line, cosmetics, eyewear and furniture designs. location: 28 bruton street [mayfair].
