tonight sees the premiere of excellent choice, a bubbly new comedy written by budding playwright rob hayes and directed by ned bennett. part of edgy the vault festival and staged at the old vic tunnels in southwark, it tells the story of a very rare, fine wine shop. a customer who manages to find it discovers the rather unusual shop owner. at first they seem to be conducting a normal transaction but then secrets about their past and present lives and motives carry us off on a dark journey. the two-man comedy stars renowned acting veteran jeff rawle and up-and-coming talent benjamin dilloway. presented by eye saw theatre, this new comedy shows at today and tomorrow at 6pm, and with matinees at 3pm coming saturday and sunday. click [here] for tickets...they cost only gbp 5 for 30 minutes of great fun! location: leake street [southwark].
