for the launch of the second edition of the escapist, a journal of places less explored for highly discerning globetrotters, global affairs and lifestyle magazine monocle has set up temporary shop in the city that's traditionally been home to a sizeable number of the aforementioned target demographic: hong kong. situated on the swanky premises of department store lane crawford at ifc mall, the pop-up store features a specially designed setting which comprises of timber paneling, shelving and displays, and next to the aformentioned publication, the latest edition of monocle's monthly magazine and a number of other related publications, it stocks a selection of coveted collab products, including travel bags, small leather goods, fragrances and home products, all curated by editor-in-chief tyler brûlé. the monocle pop-up store will be open for business through mid-october. location: lane crawford, 8 finance street, shop 3031-3070 [central].
