delhi: galleryske opening

founded in bengaluru back in 2003 by sunitha kumar emmartgalleryske has established a solid reputation as one of india's leading art venues with a critically engaged contemporary art program, and it participates in leading art fairs across the planet, such as art basel, art basel miami beach and art dubai. after relocating to new premises at its homebase, galleryske has now expanded with a second venue in delhi. the new art gallery has opened at shivam house, a 1940s building with a grid façade in the connaught place area. occupying an expansive single exhibition floor, the space has been redesigned by italian architect annalisa belletati. the gallery will present seven shows at each of the two galleries while it currently also runs a project space and residency space in bengaluru. the inaugural show in delhi also mark galleryske's 10th year anniversary and showcases the work of all the 13 artists represented by the gallery. the idea behind the show is to thank the artists for their support through the years while also giving delhi audience a peek into the gallery's program and the artistic diversity that it has offer [on through jan 4]. location: shivam house, 14-f middle circle [connaught place].
