Living in the age of interconnectivity, fashion has become a multifaceted commodity that far exceeds its usual perimeters, encompassing a lifestyle, creative vision, or any aspiration that needs to be projected. Aligning itself with a new generation of savvy urbanites, streetwear brand FLÂNEUR has raised its profile at its vibrant home base Amsterdam with the so-called FLÂNEUR Music Booth. Installed at its headquarters in the city’s fast-emerging NDSM area, the newly established venue embodies a fusion of music and technology, while also reflecting the brand’s forward design ethos and innovation-driven spirit, which is rooted in an deep interest in leading cities across the planet. The inauguration of the FLÂNEUR Music Booth coincides with the launch of a livestream set created by the FLÂNEUR Music project.

The setting, created by the brand’s in-house design team, sees a curved industrial backdrop of corrugated steel with the FLÂNEUR Music logo projected on it, while a full-fledged moveable DJ booth, encapsulated in fabric, is flanked by two large, suspended VOID Air Motion speakers, obviously dipped in the brand’s signature bright green hue. Flooring clad in contrasting ultramarine-coloured carpeting adds to the intricately calibrated visual drama. The very first DJ set, featuring London-based Scottish artist La La, was recently recorded and will air shortly. Unsurprisingly, given the sleek setting, the brand’s latest lookbook has been shot here. Although the FLÂNEUR Music Booth is off-limits, the venue can be accessed by invitation during occasional DJ sets and livestream recordings. © superfuture
