So, when was the last time you thought dining out was exciting? Exactly. Paris-based creative culinary studio WE ARE ONA has been throwing dinner parties on home turf and abroad, pulling discerning gourmets with a penchant for adventure and savoir-vivre to its doorstep. Launched by Luca Pronzato, originally a sommelier by trade, but also a free-spirited hospitality entrepreneur, the WE ARE ONA parties are pretty hard to pass by. WE ARE ONA has now returned to New York City, and for its latest edition, Pronzato is collaborating with Alexandre de Betak, a hailed set designer and fashion show producer, who created a minimalist dining setting high up in the soaring WSA Building, which is defined by a 100-ft.-long sculpture, comprising an elongated custom-designed table and a matching suspended light panel crafted from traditional office lights, which dominates the space and echoes the atmosphere and aesthetic of the city’s financial district. Additionally, guest chef Sho Miyashita from Paris, whose cooking is renowned for blending tradition and modernity, has been brought in to serve nothing but culinary delight.
