At an accelerated pace, CELINE stores across the planet undergo a full revamp that lend the premises the contemporary glamour of its current creative director Hedi Slimane. As of late the CELINE boutique at GINZA SIX, a multi-storey luxury shopping centre in Tokyo‘s buzzing Ginza shopping district, has been given a makeover. The CELINE store simultaneously opened its doors with the shopping centre’s much-publicised inauguration in 2017, and even came with a distinct façade design of its own. Situated on the ground floor, the store’s newest look is an exercise of contemporary luxury which cleverly balances savoir-vivre, erudition and downright sumptuousness which appeals to almost all senses.

The chosen aesthetic aligns effortlessly with other CELINE retail spaces through the use of a fixed range of materials, finishes, including black and white marble, brass, chrome and metal, but is adapted to the dimensions of the retail space. Additionally, to avoid a generic shopping experience, the premises are peppered with a series of eye-catching furnishings and artworks from the Celine Art Project, and all hand-picked by Slimane himself, which add a highly personalised touch to the premises. The renewed CELINE store stocks women’s and men’s apparel, accessories, bags, shoes, small leather goods, jewellery pieces, eyewear, and last but not least, CELINE Haute Parfumerie, its coveted range of fragrances. © superfuture
