Recently fully refurbished, The Laguna not only adds a new sense of contemporary elegance to Bali‘s upscale Nusa Dua district, but also new facilities that oozes holiday savoir-vivre at the highest level. The alluring Kul Kul beach house, created by Kuala Lumpur-based design agency ZDR, sits right on the beach with a large adult-only pool, cabanas and ample views of the Indian Ocean. The beach house is a structure that’s loosely inspired by traditional Balinese pavilions. Open and airy, a variety of contemporary furnishings in different seating areas flank an elongated bar with a massive marble top. The roof’s exposed wooden beams and intricate construction, in addition to a decorative gamelan, add a cultured touch to the setting. Guests can enjoy signature cocktails, wines, spirits, and light meals throughout the day with a variety of entertainment and upcoming events to look forward to. In addition to Kul Kul, The Laguna offers a range of gourmet dining options: Banyubiru for Pan-Asian and international cuisines, De Bale lounge & bar for spice-infused cocktails and beachfront Arwana for coastal cuisine. Arwana is also undergoing renovations, and will be a destination for premium coastal cuisine, showcasing fresh seafood and signature dishes. Also situated by the beachfront, the restaurant is set to open very soon as an Asian grill restaurant.
